点対称

2点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{P}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\text{Q}}$ が点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}}$ に関して対称であることは

線分 $3$\displaystyle{\text{PQ}}$ の中点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{C}}$ は点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}}$ と重なる．(定直線に関して対称な点を参照)
線分 $3$\displaystyle{\text{PA}}$ を点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}}$ 通を通り線分 $3$\displaystyle{\text{PA}}$ に垂直な直線 $3$\ell$ を中心軸として180°回転させると線分 $3$\displaystyle{\text{PA}}$ は線分 $3$\displaystyle{\text{QA}}$ と重なる．

が成り立つことである．

点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\text{P}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\text{Q}}$ が $3$xy$ 平面座標上にあり，各点の座標が点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}}$ $3$\displaystyle{ $ \hspace{1}{x}_{\text{A}},\hspace{1}{y}_{\text{A}} $ }$ ，点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{P}}$ $3$\displaystyle{ $ \hspace{1}{x}_{\text{P}},\hspace{1}{y}_{\text{P}} $ }$ ，点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{Q}}$ $3$\displaystyle{ $ \hspace{1}{x}_{\text{Q}},\hspace{1}{y}_{\text{Q}} $ }$ ，とすると
