距離

任意の2つの点の位置の差を距離という（2点間の距離）．点の座標の単位が $3$\displaystyle{\[\text{m}\]}$ であれば，距離の単位も $3$\displaystyle{\[\text{m}\]}$ となる．

1次元の場合・・・ 2つの点が直線上( $3$\displaystyle{x}$ 軸上)にある
2つの点 $3$\displaystyle{\text{A}$\hspace{1}{x}_{\text{A}}$\[\text{m}\]}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\text{B}$\hspace{1}{x}_{\text{B}}$\[\text{m}\]}$ の間の距離 $3$\displaystyle{\bar{\text{AB}}\[\text{m}\]}$ は
