$3$\displaystyle{y={\tan }^{ - 1 }1\text{\hspace{1} }}$ とおくと $3$\displaystyle{\tan y=1\text{\hspace{1} }}$ である．

また， $3$\displaystyle{- \frac{\hspace{2}{\pi}\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}2\hspace{2}}< y< \frac{\hspace{2}{\pi}\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}2\hspace{2}}\text{\hspace{1} }}$ より
