$3$\displaystyle{ {0}^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}< { 360 }^{^\circ } }$ のとき，次の不等式を解きなさい．

$3$\displaystyle{ \cos 2{\theta}- 2\cos {\theta}\leq \frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}2\hspace{2}} }$

$3$\displaystyle{ {0}^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}\leq { 120 }^{^\circ } }$ ， $3$\displaystyle{ { 240 }^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}< { 360 }^{^\circ } }$

2倍角の公式を使い式を用いて与式を $3$\displaystyle{\cos {\theta}}$ に関する不等式にする．

不等式を整理すると

$3$\displaystyle{ $ 2{ \cos }^{2}{\theta}- 1 $ - 2\cos {\theta}\leq \frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}2\hspace{2}} }$

$3$\displaystyle{ 2 $ 2{ \cos }^{2}{\theta}- 1- 2\cos {\theta} $ \leq 1 }$

$3$\displaystyle{ 4{ \cos }^{2}{\theta}- 2- 4\cos {\theta}\leq 1 }$

$3$\displaystyle{ 4{ \cos }^{2}{\theta}- 4\cos {\theta}- 3\leq 0 }$

$3$\displaystyle{ $ 2\cos {\theta}+1 $ $ 2\cos {\theta}- 3 $ \leq 0 }$

$3$\displaystyle{ 2\cos {\theta}- 3< 0 }$ であるから， $3$\displaystyle{ 2\cos {\theta}+1\geq 0 }$ ，ゆえに

$3$\displaystyle{ \cos {\theta}\geq - \frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}2\hspace{2}} }$

$3$\displaystyle{ {0}^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}< { 360 }^{^\circ } }$ より

$3$\displaystyle{ {0}^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}\leq { 120 }^{^\circ } }$ と $3$\displaystyle{ { 240 }^{^\circ }\leq {\theta}< { 360 }^{^\circ } }$
