三角関数（三角比）の相互関係

■関係式

$3${\sin }^{2}{\theta}+{\cos }^{2}{\theta}=1$ ⇒証明
$3$\displaystyle{\tan {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2} \sin {\theta} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} \cos {\theta} \hspace{2}}}$ （ただし， $3$\cos {\theta}\neq 0$ ） ⇒証明
$3$\displaystyle{{\tan }^{2}{\theta}+1=\frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}}$ （ただし， $3$\cos {\theta}\neq 0$ ） ⇒証明

■証明

$三角関数の定義$ 1．三角関数の定義より（右図参照）

$3$\displaystyle{\sin {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}y\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\cos {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}x\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}}}$ より

$3$\displaystyle{y=r\sin {\theta}}$ ･･････(1)， $3$\displaystyle{x=r\cos {\theta}}$ ･･････(2)

となる．△OQPにおいて，三平方の定理より

(3)に(1)，(2)を代入すると

$3$\displaystyle{ { \left({ r\cos {\theta} }\right) }^{2}+{ \left({ r\sin {\theta} }\right) }^{2}={r}^{2} }$

$3${\sin }^{2}{\theta}+{\cos }^{2}{\theta}=1$

が得られる．

2．三角関数の定義より

$3$\displaystyle{\sin {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}y\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\cos {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}x\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}}}$ ， $3$\displaystyle{\tan {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}y\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}x\hspace{2}}}$

よって

$3$\displaystyle{\tan {\theta}=\frac{\hspace{2}y\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}x\hspace{2}}=\frac{\hspace{2} \frac{\hspace{2}y\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} \frac{\hspace{2}x\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2}r\hspace{2}} \hspace{2}}=\frac{\hspace{2} \sin {\theta} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} \cos {\theta} \hspace{2}}}$

3． $3$\displaystyle{{\sin }^{2}{\theta}+{\cos }^{2}{\theta}=1}$ の両辺を $3$\displaystyle{{\cos }^{2}{\theta}}$ で割ると

$3$\displaystyle{\frac{\hspace{2} { \sin }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}+\frac{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}=\frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}}$

となる． $3$\displaystyle{\frac{\hspace{2} \sin {\theta} \hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} \cos {\theta} \hspace{2}}=\tan {\theta}}$ を上式に代入すると

$3$\displaystyle{{\tan }^{2}{\theta}+1=\frac{\hspace{2}1\hspace{2}}{\hspace{2} { \cos }^{2}{\theta} \hspace{2}}}$

の関係式が得られる．
