指数と対数の関係

$3$\hspace{1}{\log }_{a}P=r\text{\hspace{5}}\Leftrightarrow \text{\hspace{5}}{a}^{r}=P$

の関係が成り立つ．

底を $3$a$ （ $3$\displaystyle{ a> 0 }$ ）とする指数関数 $3$\displaystyle{y={a}^{x}}$ と対数関数 $3$\displaystyle{y=\hspace{1}{\log }_{a}x}$ は逆関数の関係である（対数関数のページを参照のこと）．よって，以下の関係式が成り立つ．

$3$\displaystyle{x={a}^{ \hspace{1}{ \log }_{a}x }}$
$3$\displaystyle{x=\hspace{1}{\log }_{a}{a}^{x}}$
